He called a fine game. The end result is what it is, a loss purely in the trenches. The Mifflin "O" and "D" lines were superior to ours and they pushed us around.
In the 2nd. quarter we held the ball for 10 mins. and finally gave our "D" a blow.Even that drive was very inconsistent and survived on a 4th down offsides by Mifflin on a punt attempt and some good clutch catches.

Play calling had nothing to do with this one.We couldn't and didn't execute! Even the back-up QB "the junior" coughed up the ball on his first attempt!

Prevent "D" trying to rush 3 and blitz a small guy in the middle was almost ridiculous to watch. That kid bounced off their "O" line like a super ball in a rubber room! Two of our defenders knocking each other out of the play allowing another score with under a min in the first half!!

Too many stupid penalties.Kick-off and punt returners running east and west wont get it either.

Mifflin is a very good team and they have good size, speed and balance on both sides of the ball. They shut Hoke down and tackled very well.If he had more then 3 yds. per carry I'd be surprised.

You wont win games if you don't win the battle on the LOS!

Great show by Mifflin they played a very good game and I have no doubt they go pretty far in 4A this year!

The TIDE will need to put this one behind them and keep focused on the upcoming games.They need to fix the stupid mistakes and keep to their assignments on "D".
