District Ranking

Posted Saturday, October 27, 2007 by Reading Eagle

The District 3 rankings weren't released today because there are still games being played in the Harrisburg area today due to storms that forced postponements Friday night.

The one major change you'll see when they are released is that Gov. Mifflin will move up from No. 3 to No. 2 in District 3/6-AAAA, due to No. 2 Altoona's loss to No. 7 Bishop McDevitt. That's significant, because if the Mustangs can win out, then continue to win, they'll be assured of three home games in the playoffs, with the finals set at Hersheypark Stadium. Playing no road games in the playoffs is a very good thing, as the Mustangs found out last year.
